The Partnership’s 31st Annual Newport Golf Invitational took place last Monday – one of the USGA’s five founding clubs, the site of the inaugural U.S. Open. The weather was wonderful – golfers enjoyed low winds and beautiful sunshine for all 18 holes.
Our sincere thanks to Golf Chairman Aidan Browne for his support and incredible work in ensuring the success of the outing again this year. Thank you to our Invitational sponsors, and travel partners Aer Lingus, as well as IrishAmerican Whiskey for the tremendous prize of an Achill Island whiskey cask.
A highlight of the day was the first ever Hole-in-One (on hole 8) – congratulations to Dean Mix of the Gibbons PC team!
