![Join us on January 8th in Washington, DC, as we welcome Lady Mary Peters as 2025 Nollaig na mBan [Women’s Christmas] Honoree.
Lady Peters will share the incredible story of her gold medal win for the pentathlon at the 1972 Munich Olympics and reflect on her remarkable career. A beloved figure in her adopted home of Northern Ireland, Lady Peters has spent decades promoting and encouraging its young sportspeople. From establishing its first high-standard synthetic athletic track, to founding the Mary Peters Trust, she has been a stalwart ambassador for sport, and for Northern Ireland.
