Following a rousing procession by the Shannon Rovers Pipe Band, our guest speaker, 2nd Ward Alderman Brian Hopkins, welcomed Minister Carroll MacNeill. The Minister warmly greeted our guests and supporters, expressing her appreciation on behalf of the Irish Government. She passionately endorsed the Partnership’s 39-year mission and highlighted the vital work being done to advance integrated education in Northern Ireland.

Vice Chancellor, CEO & Registrar of the Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland (RCSI), Professor Cathal Kelly spoke about the RCSI mission to advance human health through education, research, and service. The Irish American Partnership proudly support the expansion of the Physician Associate profession in Ireland by funding scholarships for five students pursuing their masters degree.

“The Irish American Partnership has been a consistent and reliable supporter of our physician associate students. Your support gives hope to so many at key points in their lives. On behalf of the students and the faculty of RCSI, I am honored to provide these updates and express our continued thanks and gratitude for your support and continue to encourage you in your great work,” said Professor Kelly.

The annual breakfast celebration was made possible thanks to our generous sponsors, to our wonderful speakers including Fr. Jack Clair.

Our thanks to the Shannon Rovers Irish Pipe Band, Catherine O’Connell, and our musicians Larry Nugent, Cary Novotny as well as Irish Tenor Patrick Hyland.

We are so grateful to count you among the friends of the Partnership. Thank you for your support which makes our work possible, honoring our heritage by investing in Ireland’s future.
