2025 Nollaig na mBan Women’s Leadership Celebration
On the morning of January 22nd, Irish American Partnership supporters gathered at the Boston Harbor Hotel for the 2025 Nollaig na mBan Women’s Leadership Celebration, honoring United States Ambassador to Ireland Claire Cronin.
Welcomed home to Massachusetts by Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll, former Congressman Joe P. Kennedy III, and Consul General of Ireland Sighle FitzGerald, the speakers touched upon Ambassador Cronin’s exemplary leadership, her unwavering commitment to public service, and her remarkable efforts to strengthen the transatlantic relationship between the U.S. and Ireland.
After an inspiring invocation by Monsignor Liam Bergin, Ambassador Cronin was met with an enthusiastic reception. In a wide-ranging discussion with Professor Mary C. Murphy of the Irish Institute at Boston College, our 2025 Nollaig na mBan honoree spoke warmly about the people of Ireland, reflected on her extraordinary career, and congratulated the Partnership on its impactful work at the grassroots level, supporting education across the island of Ireland.
In recognition of our honoree, the Partnership was delighted to present a grant to the Virgin Mary Boys National School, Ballymun, in Dublin, where the Ambassador was welcomed by pupils and teachers in 2023.

Special thanks to our generous Sponsors, and to the 2025 Host Committee for your support.
