On September 22nd, the Irish American Partnership’s Young Partners gathered at Mintz in Boston for the latest installment of the Young Partners Speaker Series, featuring Paul Caskey OBE, Chief Executive of the Integrated Education Fund (IEF).

The evening was kindly hosted by Daniel F. Conley, Special Counsel at Mintz and Senior Advisor at ML Strategies, and a longtime friend of the Partnership. Guests enjoyed the firm’s space at One Financial Center and heard some of the history of Mintz, a firm with deep roots in Boston.

Paul brought more than 25 years of experience with the IEF to the conversation, having served as Head of Campaign for over two decades before his appointment as Chief Executive in July 2024. He spoke about integrated education as a driver of progress in Northern Ireland, where schools that bring together children, teachers, and governors from Catholic, Protestant, and other backgrounds are helping to build understanding in a historically segregated education system. For many in the room, it was a powerful reminder that lasting peace is built not only through politics, but in classrooms and communities, one generation at a time.

The Partnership is proud to be a longtime supporter of the IEF, helping to establish new integrated schools that strengthen understanding across generational and cultural lines.

As we mark the Irish American Partnership’s 40th anniversary, events like this are a reminder of the vibrant, engaged community of young Irish and Irish American professionals who continue to shape the Partnership’s future.
