This January, the Partnership was delighted to welcome Playwright, Producer, Writer and Creator of Derry Girls, Lisa McGee along with Editor-In-Chief of Glamour, Samantha Barry as our creative vanguards of women’s leadership.
Nollaig na mBan, or Women’s Christmas, is held each year in January throughout Ireland to celebrate women’s leadership within the family and community. This year, and every year, the Irish American Partnership celebrates this holiday by honoring Irish and Irish American female leaders and the incredible impact they have worldwide.
We congratulate our incredible Boston Honorees, and have made two grants on their behalf totaling $15,000 to Fighting Words Northern Ireland, and Scoil Barra, in Ballincollig, Co. Cork.
