Irish American Partnership Golf Scholarship Application
As part of our commitment to advancing educational opportunities in Ireland, the Irish American Partnership has been a leading supporter of third level education, providing scholarships to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Partnership grants to universities and colleges across the island of Ireland have an immediate and transformative impact, ensuring that an equal opportunity is afforded to all students to reach their full potential, and become leaders in their community.
In line with this tradition, the Partnership is proud to launch a golf scholarship program for young Irish golfers to assist them on their educational and golf journey. Supported by funds raised through the Partnership’s Golf Championship Series, the scholarship will award up to $10,000 to one promising young golfer annually to support their further education in post-secondary or Q school journey.
Applicants must be skilled golfers with a strong work ethic. Successful applicants will not only possess these qualities but will also demonstrate potential to be excellent ambassadors for Ireland, as well as tremendous role models for Irish youth—on the links, in the classroom, and beyond. Recipients of the golf scholarship will serve as champions of the Partnership’s mission to educate and inspire the next generation of Irish leaders, attending Partnership events and representing the Partnership at tournaments (e.g. wearing the Partnership’s logo).
