Support the Ulster Historical Foundation
Ulster Historical Foundation
Since it was established in 1956, the Ulster Historical Foundation has carved a unique space in the world of genealogy as the only body on the island of Ireland which provides both expertise in family history research and a range of publications of the highest quality.
In addition, we are renowned for the professionalism of our courses in family history, our annual conferences, and the extensive lecture tours we undertake each year in North America and beyond. For example, in the image above, the Foundation’s Research Director, Dr. William Roulston assists one of the delegates at our family history conference at the Public Record Office of Northern Ireland in September 2015.
If you’re wondering whether to engage UHF’s services or attend one of their conferences I can assure you that you’ll experience absolute quality.’

The Foundation is an educational non-profit organization and is entirely self-funded. Your support will help us to continue our work of unlocking the past and strengthening the links between Ireland and those of Ulster descent wherever they may be in the world today.
I am ecstatic with the results [of the research] and I thank you for your efforts on my behalf. This definitely makes my future trip to Ireland more exciting.
