Young Partners Boston Holiday Celebration

YOUNG PARTNERS HOLIDAY CELEBRATION

The Partnership’s Young Partners Boston chapter celebrated the holiday season with an evening of networking and celebration at Bostonia on December 15. We were delighted to gather with over 90 friends and supporters to reflect on another year of giving back to students, schools, and communities across Ireland.

Vice Consul General Paul Rooney offered warm welcoming remarks, speaking about the direct, targeted impact of Partnership support in schools and communities across Ireland. Partnership Development Officer Grace Gardiner thanked the Young Partners for their participation, their generosity, and for making a meaningful difference for young people in Ireland.

This year to date, the Partnership has disbursed over $3.2 million in grants to classrooms, scholarship programs, and youth initiatives throughout Ireland. Thank you to our Young Partners for helping to make this support possible.

All proceeds from the event directly benefitted St. Malachy’s College in Belfast, where the funds raised will be used to purchase laptops and digital resources for the school’s Irish Department. With new laptops, students will be able to access core components of the curriculum through digital technology, increasing their knowledge of and love for the Irish language.

Thank you to our official travel partner Aer Lingus for sponsoring our holiday raffle, and congratulations to our winner Anne-Marie Freeley, who won round-trip tickets to Ireland!
